A silver CHATELAINE OR CLAVIER decorated with opposing scrolls and shells. Double jaseron chain. Silver and steel scissors, openwork rings and M/IS openwork monogram. The same monogram engraved on the back of the keyboard. Master goldsmith: crowned CS, perhaps Christophe Sauvan, master in Marseille received in 1783 (his small hallmark) or Cyrille Sibon master in Barjols in 1787 (his small hallmark).
