A late Louis XVI period PORTICAL HANGER in white marble, black marble and ormolu ornamentation, decorated with a cassolette flanked by foliate seeds, the shock-absorbing dial adorned with a laurel wreath centered on a cookie medallion on a blue background titled "Un seul me suffit" ("One is enough for me"). Base with pearl and foliate friezes resting on six toupie feet. White enamel dial signed Gloria & Délas with Arabic numerals for hours and quarters, dotted lines for minutes Wire-suspension movement complete with sundial, gong and key (to be overhauled) 47 x 32 x 12 cm (Enamel skips, elements to be refixed, stamp to be refixed, minor wear to gilding)
