"Portrait of Colonel ROVEDA, colonel commanding the 60th Line in 1842, wearing the insignia of Officer of the Legion of Honor and Knight of the Order of Saint Louis". Oil on canvas (accidents and wear), signed on the back "DUQUESNE SOLDAT AU 60e Rt 1842". 62 x 48 cm. Gilded frame. Pierre Rovéda (1790-1844) had been a Knight of the Order of Saint Louis since 1823.
