HOZIER (C. d'). Armorial Général de la France [or Registres de la Noblesse de France]. Paris, Collomat et Prault, (1738-1764) (and Paris, typographie Firmin-Didot, circa 1865?), 6 registers bound in 10 volumes in-folio, half tan basane, ornate ribbed spines (later bindings, epidermures to some volumes, repair to a spine, slightly rubbed jaws, worn headbands, interior brown spots). Six registers bound in 10 volumes, illustrated with numerous in-text engraved coats of arms. The titles of two volumes and pages 1 to 8 of volume III are incomplete. The title of volume 1 bears a handwritten indication "Paris, Typographie Firmin Didot, frères & fils, Fac-similé de l'édition originale". This suggests that some pages (perhaps quires or volumes) of this copy may have come from this 19th-century (c. 1865) Firmin Didot reprint. This copy does not include the later 7th register.
