KINGDOM OF THE TWO SICILES ORDER OF SAINT JANVIER, founded in 1738. Beautiful knight's plate of the order. In worked diamond-point silver, with four double-perforated branches, interspersed with fleurs-de-lys. Central motif with chased and enameled gold Saint and banner: -The Saint with red enameled miter and green motif, red mosette and blue cape, full vials of blood. -The banner features the legend "IN SANGUINE FOEDUS" on a blue enamel background. Reverse with tilting clasp. Dimensions: 56 x 56 mm. Gross weight: 28 g. T.T.B. Mid 19th century.
