DUQUESNE in Paris Early 18th century Onion watch in gilt metal. Round hinged case with stylized motifs. Gilt and foliage dial with white enamel cartouches indicating hours in Roman numerals and minutes in Arabic numerals, railway minute track (hands missing). Movement with key winding, verge escapement, chased and pierced cock, spiral balance, spindle and chain, setting disk, signature on plate. Diam. 57.5 mm Sold as is, wide traces of wear visible on the set, hands missing, enamel accidents on several cartouches, movement does not work, expect complete refurbishment, no warranty.
