OIGNON WATCH in 800-milliliter silver from the Louis XIV period, silvered dial with painted Roman numerals on enameled cartouches centered on a foliate scroll and squirrel motif. Blued steel hands. The smooth case is richly decorated and pierced. Rooster movement, key winding, striking on gong, verge escapement and meeting wheel, chain and fusee, signed ''GAUDRON A PARIS''.
