CHINA, Second half of the 18th century A copper ELEPHANT with an openwork design of stylized clouds, harnessed to a saddle featuring a "honeycomb" design in cloisonné enamels, supporting on its back a copper gourd-shaped vase with a flattened body on a foot decorated in champlevé enamels with foliate scrolls.
