White enamel ring dial with Roman numerals for the hours inscribed in the wheel Base with lictors' beams decorated on the front with a frieze of characters representing the loves of Telemachus, framed by laurel wreaths and swords with ribbons Movement with suspension with functional wire (not guaranteed) Complete with its balance wheel, stamp and key 46 x 48 x 12 cm Model created at the beginning of the Empire after a drawing by the bronze-maker André REICHE, now kept at the Bibliothèque Nationale It is said that the twelve marshals of the Empire owned a copy of this clock of which there are variants The Musée de la Malmaison, the Royal Spanish Collections and the Royal Dutch Collections own one
